ServPDF ist ein webbasierter Microsoft Office zu PDF Converter, der innerhalb kürzester Zeit ohne großen Konfigurationsaufwand aufgesetzt und in Betrieb genommen werden kann. Ein einfacher Installer nimmt Ihnen die Konfigurationsarbeit ab und richtet das System so ein, dass direkt nach der Installation der Webserver gestartet und die ersten User im Netzwerk Konvertierungen durchführen können. Unterstützt werden als Eingabeformate alle Office-Formate, die von Microsoft Office 2000/XP gelesen werden können. Eine Zusatz-Funktionalität liefert noch die Konvertier-Möglichkeit von PDF zu Bilddateien (JPG, PNG, TIFF) und zurück zu Postscript und Encapsulated Postscript (EPS). ServPDF is a web/server based document converter solution which can convert Microsoft Office to PDF, PDF to Image Formats (JPG, PNG, TIFF) and PDF to Postscript directly on the server. The server application is based on spyce (Python Server Pages). By a webform users can upload Microsoft Office documents and can convert them to PDF on the server. Supported are for the PDF-Conversion all formats which Microsoft Office can read. Another server appliocation converts PDF to image formats JPG, PNG, TIFF and back to Postscript.
