The Import Assistant is useful in the following situations: - you have to fill an Access database with data from an administration which was previously kept in Excel. The assistant will help you transfer different parts of the spreadsheet to different tables and help you fill in missing and find and replace incorrect data. - data is delivered to you by different sources using mail and Excel attachments. The adding will rememberwich file to open (or location where the file can be found) and the mapping for transferring the data into the Access table.
